NO GYM REQUIRED

SUPPORT
These classes are designed to have a built-in support system to encourage you if you’re struggling while helping to hold you accountable.
I believe that if we are genuine and sincere in asking God for strength, he will give it us. I believe it’s also important to remember that we are not just accountable to ourselves, or our families and loved ones, we are also accountable to the Lord.
Isaiah 40:29 says He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
Romans 14:12 says So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
LET GO AND LET GOD
If you want to make changes but don’t feel like you can, let go of it, give it to God, and leave it with him.
When we shift from making decisions based on our flesh and the world, to making them for the Lord, the choices we make change because they’re being made with the intention of honoring and glorifying the him – whether it be eating and exercising, learning and establishing new habits and behaviors or breaking the bad ones – decisions based on our flesh and fulfilling human desires perpetuated by perceived worldly expectations, criticism and judgments may work for a little while, but long term, without suffering is not likely.
Get Moving!! is an in-person, group exercise class for ladies at local churches.
Exercise can contribute to feeling better physically, emotionally and mentally, by building strength, balance and coordination, while also helping to mitigate depression, anxiety, low self-esteem and low confidence.
In many cases, just 1 or 2 days a week of low intensity, simple exercises can make a huge difference!!
Exercise can –
While the above are mainly physical, emotional and mental reasons, I don’t believe that they alone are reason enough.
1 Corinthians 6:20 says For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
I believe we should approach fitness as creations of God having been made in his image.
In addition to exercise, we’ll also address nutrition, shifting from a worldly lens to viewing it as something in which we can honor and glorify the Lord.
1 Corinthians 10:31goes on to say Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
I used to teach women’s development, with an emphasis on identity. Looking back at it now, it’s terrifying – none of it had anything to do with God, it was all worldly based.
I was going through my own struggles at the time, and didn’t have a relationship with the Lord, I’d been angry with him and the church for a long time.
My husband and I have given our lives to the Lord, we’ve committed to living for him, doing his will, dying to our old selves daily and being vessels for the Holy Spirit to work through as we testify for Jesus. With that, we enrolled in bible college and are working on our Bachelors in Biblical Studies further immersing ourselves in the Word everyday.
With that, I’ve written Identity in Christ, where I teach on how to shift from seeing ourselves through a worldly lens to seeing ourselves as creations of God, having been made in his image.
This is a 1:1 coaching program which includes learning to who you are in Christ, and learning to love all facets of who that is.
For some of us learning to love and accept the women in the mirror can be the hardest person we ever learn to love, especially when society and media are all up in the middle of it – that’s the problem right there. In this program, you’ll learn how to stop living for the world – and start living for the Lord!!
