
What is fitness?? Simply put, fitness is the combination of exercise and nutrition to improve physical, emotional and mental health.
What is faith-based fitness?? Approaching exercise and nutrition on a foundation of scripture with the intention of honoring and glorifying God.
1 Corinthians 6:19 says What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
I started Faith-Based Fitness Coaching™ to help women make the shift from looking at their bodies through a worldly lens and begin seeing them as creations of God, having been made in his image, teaching practical tools in a supportive environment, encouraging fellowship with him through fitness.
I like to think about it like this –
bible study + fitness = cultivating fellowship with the Lord
Sometimes, making changes can feel impossible, especially with the wants of the flesh and judgment of the world, but remember, Luke 1:37 tells us that For with God nothing shall be impossible.
